2015: The Year of “Clear Intentions”

Intention: Purpose and attitude toward the effect of ones thoughts and or behaviors to create a desired end result. A “mental’ and deliberate act or instance of determining action.

As you move forward into this New Year, I ask you to do so with intention. In other words, before you react or take action, think about your intentions for the end result. Think about what you want to accomplish that will result getting you what you want in life. Think about how you need to react with others to make your desires and intentions for your life this year your reality. This is an effective and efficient way to:

  1. Deliberately choose situations and people that honor your intentions
  2. Avoid and steer clear of those people and situations who do not
  3. Disregard any opportunities that although may be tempting, don’t guide you toward your intentions
  4. Avoid wasting time on things, people, and activities the distract you from your intentions
  5. Focus and give your time and energy to those activities, people, and things that do honor your intentions.

I will use a few of my intentions as an example:

  1. My intention is to call forth a loving, passionate, joyful relationship that meets and matches my standards spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially.
  2. My intention is to continue to build and provide a foundation of emotional stability and security to my children as individuals and as a family.
  3. Professionally my intention is to surpass my previous success and create new and unlimited and expansive ways of helping people to create joy for them, and myself and well as providing a healthy, secure long-term career.
  4. My intention is to establish a strong financial plan for 2015 for my future that makes me feel safe and secure moving forward in the years to come.
  5. My intention is to build a spiritual practice that supports all my goals and intentions helping me to fulfill them with ease.

The idea here is to define your intentions clearly. Be sure “not” to use negative words such as “not” in your intentions. Then write a sentence that clarifies each intention as I have done above. Keep it on your phone or by your computer, and read it often. Any time you are presented with a situation, person, meeting, activity, etc. that will compromise your intention, well, the answer is clear. On the other hand, the obvious situations or people that come forth or show up to help to make your intentions become your reality are clear gifts from the universe to embrace and allow to unfold.

Move forward with you intentions this year with steadfast responsiveness, instead of reactionary patterns of fear, anxiety, and insecurity. Be clear and stabilize, and stay grateful for your ability to stay in your intentions. Set your intentions before every meeting, every confrontation; even every opportunity. If you do, the answers will be clear about which path to follow and with whom.

God Bless,

Lucinda
